You leave Glasgow before dawn and the city windows blur into a ribbon of motorway; the air on the coach feels like the first breath of the Highlands. Drive past glassy lochs that catch the light and peat-streaked hills where mist threads between ridges. The tour drops you at Luss to walk the shore, then through moor and pine towards the white-walled town of Oban where seafood smoke and sea spray draw you to the harbour.

9 hours.
Suitable for most fitness levels; requires short, easy walks (up to 1–2 miles total) and ability to board a coach
The trip is approximately nine hours and starts at the bus stands opposite Buchanan Bus Station in central Glasgow.
Lunch is not included; there is a 60–90 minute stop in Oban with options for seafood, cafés, and a small distillery visit.
Admissions are not included; you may need extra time and an entry fee if you choose to visit Inveraray Castle.
The tour accepts small children but infants under 3 are not accepted; some stops are stroller-accessible though terrain can be uneven.
The route passes lands long associated with Clan Campbell; Inveraray Castle is the historic seat of the Dukes of Argyll dating largely from the 18th century.
Peatlands and coastal habitats are sensitive; stick to marked paths, avoid disturbing wildlife, and carry out all waste to reduce visitor impact.
