About This Adventure

Experience the beauty of kayaking with a 4-hour rental at Jefferson Springs Recreation. Paddle through scenic landscapes, explore rock formations, and enjoy swimming areas. Perfect for beginners and families, this adventure offers a relaxing day on still waters, with options for fishing and sunbathing along the way.

  • Single Kayak: $50 + tax

  • Tandem Kayak: $65 + tax

  • Shuttle (personal kayak): $20

Shuttles(Bring Your Own Kayak)

  • Shuttles are only for people bringing their own kayaks. We charge $20.00 to haul your kayak and you from the end point( where you park) to the takeoff point. When booking choose the shuttle option not rentals.
  • Customers renting kayaks from us do not have to pay a fee for the ride to the takeoff point. It's included in the kayak rental fee.

Take off at Jefferson Springs Rec Option

  • If you choose this option you will take off at Jefferson Springs Recreation Boat Ramp( Left side of ramp) and paddle out at your own direction. When you are done you will return to the same area when done. This option is great for first time kayaking and those bringing small children. This area offers easy access to the swimming areas, rec park, and a good bit off shoreline to pullover and relax or explore all while being close to the parking area.
  • MUST NOTIFY US VIA TEXT OR CALLING THAT YOU WANT THIS OPTION, IF NOT WE WILL ASSUME YOU WANT THE CHOSEN OPTION (West Fork Boat Ramp to Jefferson)

West Fork Boat Ramp to Jefferson Springs Recreation.

  • Start: West Fork Boat Ramp (You will not park here) This is where we will shuttle you to from Jefferson Springs.

  • End: Jefferson Springs Recreation (Parking Area) You will paddle from West Fork Boat Ramp to Jefferson Springs Rec. The driver will explain further. When done "PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE KAYAKS ON BOAT RAMP" The drivers should instruct you on were to leave kayaks if no one is there to pick them up. The best place is just past the boat ramp in the grass area out of other people's way.

  • WE RENT OUR KAYAKS FOR UP TO 4 HOURS PER RESERVATION, IT TAKES CUSTOMERS ON AVERAGE 2 TO 2 1/2 HOURS TO PADDLE WEST FORK TO JEFERSON SPRINGS REC. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SPEND A DAY OUT THEIR LET US KNOW AHEAD OF TIME AND WE WILL CHARGE ACCORDINGLY. ALL OTHER PRICING AND INFO WILL BE ON YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL (MAKE SURE TO READ EMAIL IN FULL! VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION)

  • Lots of nature, very scenic, rock formations, areas to swim all through the float.

  • ATTENTION --ALL STILL WATER FLOAT-- NO CURRENT: This area is beautiful and offers a lot to do from beautiful swimming areas, miles of river to explore, or cruise on out into the open lake. You have a range of options to choose from. Also, a restroom is available at Jefferson Springs Recreation Area as well.

  • If you want to paddle out and get some sun or load up and hit the river to fish, this is the place to do it. We have areas of flooded timber and partial cave like rock formations you can kayak into. Area also offers both shallow water for first time kayakers, and deep water for those more experienced and want to get away from everything and soak up the sun. This location also offers almost half a mile of shallow shoreline on the rec side if you want to swim or have lunch on the bank.
