About This Trip##

  • This 2-2.5 hour guided adventure is perfect for beginner and first time paddlers- these are small group clear kayak tours so please keep in mind paddlers of all levels can be grouped together!
  • We welcome paddlers of all skill levels; however, kayaking can be a physically demanding activity. Winds, tides + weather can impact the difficulty of the paddle.
  • Each tandem clear kayak fits 2 people.
  • Expect an adventure that is part wild and part urban as the river is a popular one to enjoy living and recreating on and more people enjoy recreating on the weekends and holidays than weekdays.
  • Be on the lookout for many different species of animals from; birds, plants, turtles, fish, otters, manatees, dolphins, sting rays and more!
  • This is a no exit kayak tour. We remain in our clear kayaks for the duration of the kayak tour to protect the ecologically sensitive Weeki Wachee River.
  • You must have the ability to sit in the same position for 2+ hours.
  • Sorry no furry friends permitted

Cancellation Policy

  • All Sales Final: Once booked, all sales are final, and no cancellations are permitted unless specified otherwise.

Weight Limit

  • No one paddler can be over 250 pounds and the combined weight of two paddlers cannot exceed 425 pounds.

  • Reservations are required for all tours.
  • Our clear kayak tours depart from Mary's Fish Camp, 7 minutes from Weeki Wachee Springs State Park.
  • Alcohol and smoking are not permitted.
  • All sales are final

DISCLAIMER:

  • We CANNOT guarantee manatee sightings on each clear kayak tour we take out, however your tour guide will do their best to go to the areas where the manatees are typically most active.
  • We have manatees that call the river home all year long and do see manatees daily but not on every tour.
  • Manatee season officially runs from November 15th - March 31st. We would like all our guests to be aware of this possibility so that there are no surprises once on the water! Please remember this is a wildlife experience and we cannot guarantee wildlife sightings.
  • Many variable impact the clarity and color of the Weeki Wachee River like weather, tides, rain, number of recreational users, restoration work and animal and boating activity. We cannot guarantee the color or visibility of the water. If this is the most important part of your experience- call us we would love to talk to you about current conditions and help you pick the best tour time for you!
