The morning light on the Tyrrhenian lifts off the cliffs as you push a sea kayak from a small pebble beach and slip into the current. Salt spray dots your face, gulls wheel overhead and a limestone arch ahead frames the first cove where you'll land for a stretch of warm stone and cool water.
