This session was created to help you with board skills for your kiteboarding waterstart. mastering the kite is one thing, and board skills are another. If you get a few hours just practicing the board, not having to worry about the kite, thing with start to click a bit earlier.
We have the equipment and the expertise to get you out there!

In the case of inclement weather or no wind:
At times we may have to reschedule lessons at the last minute due to varying factors such as unsafe or unfavorable conditions, thunder, lightning, gusty winds, offshore winds, light wind or no wind. This determination is at the discretion of the management and instructors. We base decisions on current or forecasted conditions, as well as other factors such as safety, tides, etc.
Always use a Coast Guard-approved life vest to ensure maximum safety during waterstart practice sessions.
Loíza’s trade winds are ideal, but double-check daily weather updates for optimal practice times.
Begin practicing in waist to chest-deep water to reduce risk and build confidence before heading deeper.
