About

The BSUPA Level 1 “Ready to Ride” course is aimed at people who have never Stand up Paddle Boarded before or people who have had a go but want to learn the basics.
 The 2-hour course is run in flat water and at the end of it, you will be presented with your BSUPA Level 1 Ready to Ride Certificate.

What to Expect?

There will be a lot of getting wet!

You will learn how to move the paddle board while in different positions i.e laying, kneeling, and standing.

How to fall in and get back on the board safely.

Plus many other skills along the way.

What to bring?

If you have a wetsuit and wet shoes or old trainers that would be great!

We do have Wetsuits available to borrow if required.

All other equipment will be provided for you to use.

Adventure Tips

Arrive early to set up

Getting there 15 minutes early allows time to get comfortable with the equipment and orientation.

Wear quick-drying clothing

Dressing in moisture-wicking clothes ensures comfort if you get wet during the session.
