Full description

Arriving at Kulaniapia Falls, a mere 15-minute drive from downtown Hilo, you'll journey through picturesque farmland letting loose into swaying palms and manicured grasses on the edge of dramatic and untamed jungle scenery. This transition sets the stage for the adventure ahead. As you approach, the sprawling greenery gives way to the Inn at Kulaniapia Falls, our meeting point, perched on the edge overlooking the 120-foot Kulaniapia Falls. A natural wonder awaiting your exploration.

With safety gear secured, you'll step toward the sheer rock face, the anticipation building as you prepare to descend amidst the crashing waters. The adrenaline rush intensifies with each controlled movement down the wall, but supportive words and helping hands from our team of professional certified guides keep things light and fun.

The descent offers an exhilarating mix of spray, sound, and an astounding view of the valley below. After your descent and gear return, feel free to explore the bamboo gardens and other trails on the property before taking the road back down into reality. Or, prolong the escape from it all by booking a room and staying at The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls!
