Nel lago di Mezzo, l'elegante disegno della Cartiera Burgo (anno 1960), opera di Pier Luigi Nervi, il ""poeta del cemento armato""; poi il parco-memoriale di Andreas Hofer, eroe della resistenza tirolese a Napoleone; la cinquecentesca Porta Giulia e il ""Vasaròn"", cascata dal lago Superiore.
Momento emozionante l'apparizione della Reggia dei Gonzaga che, come Venezia, sembra emergere dall'acqua con castello e torri, palazzi e basiliche e, oltre la diga Chasseloup-Masetti, il paese natale di Publio Virgilio Marone, Andes, immerso nelle ninfee.
Poi, nella Valle, lo scenario si trasforma ed è la natura a fare spettacolo: con le distese galleggianti del Nelumbium, il Fiore di Loto e della Trapa Natans, la castagna d'acqua che si cuoce e si mangia in autunno; con il levarsi di aironi, nitticore, martin pescatori, cavalieri d'Italia; con la sequenza tra pioppi e salici, della flora fluviale, negli splendori delle fioriture o verdeggiante nel carice e nella canna palustre.
