Join our exciting 2-Day Water Safety Camp at The Surf Shack in Rosslare, where kids learn essential surfing and water safety skills. Location:

Our surf school is beside the bus stop at the at the end of the main car park in the strand. We are just behind the charity shop.

2 Day Water Safety Camp

This camp blends surfing and water safety teachings to give your child essential skills to keep them safe in the sea while also having a lot of fun. Learn skills such as rescue techniques with a surfboard, how to identify currents and hazards, how to recognise emergencies and what to do, breath-work, swimming and surfing.

The Shack staff are experts in water safety and alongside surfing you will learn about the winds, tides, how to forecast waves, how they are formed and why this is important so you can safely enjoy the sea.

Just bring togs and a towel and meet us outside the surf school 10 mins before your start time.. We will supply all the gear you need for an action packed 2 days. We are really looking forward to getting you out in the water!

General Info:

The Surf Shack has landed in Rosslare and we are very excited to get started with our surf lessons , Stand Up Paddle Boarding & Kids Camps down on the strand. We are a fully insured and accredited ASI approved Surf School with over 11 years experience running adventures and lessons in Co.Wexford.

The Shack staff are experts in water safety and alongside SUP & Surfing you will learn how to forecast waves, important water safety skills inc. swimming and how to keep safe around the sea with your new craft. We take complete beginners from age 6 up to experienced adult water users looking to take their skills to the next level.

All sessions last 1hr 30mins. Just bring togs and a towel and meet us at the at the end of the main car park in the strand behind the charity shop 5 mins before your session starts.

We will supply all the gear you need for an excellent experience on the water inc. wetsuit and boots. We are really looking forward to getting you out there!

Rental of all the equipment is also available on the hour every hour. Please look for rentals on our website for more info and booking.
