After lunch we climb up and over the Lindis Pass before dropping down the other side and travelling alongside the scenic Lake Dunstan and through the historic towns of Tarras, and Cromwell before passing through the Kawarau Gorge and Gibbston Valley wine area, before arriving in Queenstown for the night

Day2:

A big day! We start out early for Milford Sound via the spectaular Devils Staircase before arriving in Te Anau for morning tea. From there, we loosely follow the shoreline of Lake Te Anau before heading into the mighty Eglinton Valley where we make one of our scenic stops to admire the mountains that rear their heads above the valley flats. Then its on to the magical Mirror Lakes before heading into the spectacular Upper Hollyford Valley, and through the famous Homer Tunnel to arrive in Mliford Sound in time for our scenic cruise on the fiord. In the afternoon, we return to Queenstown, with the possibility of more scenic stops to admire this incredible landscape.
