About

This exciting 4-hour trip has it all. It combines offshore animal encounters with amazing reef snorkeling along the Kona coastline, getting there and back on the fastest, most maneuverable boat in the US Navy. We will be riding on the “Ocean Warrior”, a REAL Navy Seal assault boat that served with Special Boat Team 12 and is capable of high-speed turns and stops that no other boat in Kona is capable of making.

The blue water adventure begins at Honokohau Marina. Our experienced Captains will take you offshore(weather permitting) to find larger marine life, such as dolphins, whales, sharks, and whale sharks. Although Kona is known for its abundant marine life, we cannot guarantee specific wildlife sightings. The ocean is our passion and we will do everything we can to make each guests’ experience a memorable one; however, at the end of the day nature follows no schedule and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

We have several beautiful snorkeling spots along the Kona Coast such as Kealakekua Bay marine preserve (Captain Cook), secluded small coves, remote black sand beach and etc. We go to the most preferable one of those spots depending on the conditions of the day. The conditions include the surf, weather, and the time we spend for offshore animal encounters. After the snorkel, refreshments will be served.

The ride back is super fun and exhilarating. Feel the speed and excitement of riding the fastest and most maneuverable boat of the US Navy. We hug the shoreline for up close sightseeing of sea caves, lava tubes, and incredible rock formations pounded by the waves. Wild Hawaii Ocean Adventures gives you the wild Hawaii truly off the beaten path. Bring your sense of adventure and let’s journey together with Wild Hawaii.

NOTE: Due to the surf or other conditions, we may occasionally need to limit our boat maneuvers for your safety.
