About

  • This is our regular paddle from D'Oyly Carte Gardens (Riverside Weybridge).
  • You will need your own board, leash and ideally a buoyancy aid. We will decide where we shall go depending on the make up of the group.
  • Members are free, the fee for non-members there is a small booking fee only. It helps pay for the booking platform.

Please Note

You are responsible for your own safety on all club paddles and must self assess if you are competent to take part, including the ability to Self Rescue. Dittons Paddle Boarding only set the meeting time and place.

Toilets & Changing

There are no toilets or changing facilities on site. The nearest toilet is by ferry to Shepparton Lock or one of the Pubs locally.

Requirements

You should be able to swim, have a reasonable balance and a sense of adventure.

What to bring

  • Please wear quick drying clothing and bring a change of clothes and a towel.
  • A dry bag would also be a good idea as well and waterproof footwear.
  • Water and a snack.
  • No specialist clothing is required. In warm weather, ordinary gym gear will be fine (shorts/leggings/T-shirt/sweatshirt), with old sandals or trainers you don't mind getting wet. Or you can get cheap neoprene wet shoes from most large supermarkets.
  • In colder weather, a wetsuit or drysuit would be advisory.
  • Always bring a towel and a change of clothes just in case you go in during the paddle boarding session.
