About This Adventure

Immerse yourself in Miriwoong culture with a captivating tour that includes a traditional welcome, Dreamtime stories, and delicious bush foods. Experience the breathtaking Kimberley sunset while listening to the didgeridoo in Mirima National Park. Visit local art sites and take home a piece of Aboriginal art from Waringarri Gallery.

Mondays and Wednesdays 3:00pm – 5:30pm (2.5 hours approx)

Learn about Miriwoong culture and art by visiting local public art sites. Experience a Mantha (traditional welcome). Learn about Dreamtime stories and understand contemporary Aboriginal histories. Enjoy a taste of delicious home-made damper and bush foods. Take home more than a memory with a visit to the Waringarri Art Gallery. Listen to the sounds of the didgeridoo in Mirima National Park while viewing a spectacular Kimberley sunset panorama.

Location:

Meet at Waringarri Arts, 16 Speargrass Rd, Kununurra (5 minutes before tour).

Pick up from Kununurra Visitor Centre available by arrangement.


  • Waringarri Art and Cultural Tours reserves the right to cancel or postpone any tour due to cultural seasonal or road conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • 2 person minimum booking required for tours to operate. If a tour is cancelled due to booking being under the minimum, change of date or refund will be offered.
