For hire, you must be in possession of a BSUPA Ready2Ride card due to our location and nature of this experience.


There is no greater venue for inland stand up paddleboarding (SUP) than London’s Royal Docks. Whether you're looking for a new and interesting way to keep fit, or just interested in giving the world’s fastest-growing water sport a try, we can provide coaching and practice sessions to suit your needs.

WakeUpDocklands is a British Stand Up Paddleboard Association (BSUPA) registered school which means our lessons are delivered by professionally certified instructors.

Includes

Hire includes 1 paddleboard per person for one hour

Excludes

  • Swimwear and towels, so be sure to bring your own!
  • BSUPA R2R card.

For safety reasons we recommend wearing shoes when entering and exiting the water. Buoyancy aids and leashes must be worn at all times when SUPing at our location.

Ability to swim is mandatory. We cannot permit non swimmers into the water. At a minimum, participants should be able to swim a full length of a 25 meter pool and confidently tread water in an deep open water environment for 2 minutes.


  • We do not have any parking for vehicles at our site. Dockside vehicle access is not permitted, so we advise coming by public transport or finding parking via the Parkopedia app.
  • Please aim to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your session’s advertised start time. Check in procedure, equipment hire, changing into wetsuits and dry land introduction speech will take place prior to your water time. Late comers can not be accommodated in the session so please ensure you arrive well in advance to ensure you don’t miss out.
  • You will receive a link to your waiver in your booking confirmation email. Please ensure you have completed this before arriving to your session.
