**Donderdag 29 augustus 2024. ** Eindtijd: omstreeks 17:00 uur in Elst (U), duur ongeveer 3 uur.
Bestemming: Blauwe Kamer, wandeling ongeveer ¾ uur.
Beschrijving
Deze mooie vaart start bij de voormalige steenfabriek Timmermans in Elst (U) en gaat vervolgens naar het prachtige natuurgebied de Blauwe Kamer. Onderweg is het volop genieten van de schitterende natuur, bijvoorbeeld als het schip het natuurgebied Palmerswaard passeert. De historische stad Rhenen met de karakteristieke Cuneratoren zie je nu eens vanaf het water. De gids aan boord vertelt van alles over het landschap en de natuurterreinen, waar we langs varen. Midden in natuurgebied de Blauwe Kamer, aan de voet van de Grebbeberg, gaan we aan land en maken daar een wandeling van ongeveer 45 minuten. Er is daar veel te zien, zoals bijzondere plantengroei en diverse vogelsoorten, waaronder de lepelaars. De wilde Koniks - kleine paarden - en Galloway runderen hebben in de Blauwe Kamer eveneens alle ruimte en laten zich vaak aan de waterkant zien, waar ze hun dorst lessen.
Inbegrepen: Een wandeling onder begeleiding van één van onze gidsen.
