The PVC Basic is a comfortable and economical choice for customers staying at a direct ocean front property with very little distance to the beach. The four large polyurethane tires make it possible to to easily navigate through the soft packed sand and get right down to the water’s edge.

Without castering wheels, however, turning the chair on surfaces other than the sand can require a little more effort on the part of the caregiver. If you have any distance to navigate before reaching the beach or if you are concerned about being able to push the chair, please consider our PVC Premium or DeBug Platinum chairs for their increased ease of maneuverability.

Customers who choose this chair should be able to transfer independently or with minimal to moderate assistance.

*All of our beach wheelchairs have the specialized polyurethane balloon tires that will safely navigate over the soft sand, pavement, boardwalk, gravel, grass, or pathway.

For our customers with a standard 4:00 pm check in, you can expect to have your equipment delivered and on your property in time for your arrival. No need to waste any precious vacation time waiting for your equipment to arrive!

If you would prefer a morning delivery, you can expect your equipment to arrive at your residence no later than 10:00am.

We also understand that there are special circumstances that may require a custom delivery time (ie. beach photos, weddings, health concerns, travel limitations, etc.). If this is the case, please call to book and we will do our very best to accommodate your special needs.

We are happy to offer FREE delivery and pick-up of all of our equipment to properties on Hilton Head. If you are staying at a property off-island or beyond, please call for our delivery fee schedule and we will do our best to get our equipment to you!

At the end of your rental, please be sure to lock your equipment up in the same general area where you found it. We will expect the equipment to be ready for pick-up by 8:00am so that we have ample time to clean, disinfect, service, and re-issue to our excited new guests about to start their vacation.
