ABOUT KNEEBOARD

A great way for children aged 7 and over and beginners of any age to start on the water! Kneeboarding is a water board sport that blends surfing, water skiing and wakeboarding.

The advantage of kneeboarding is an easier learning curve and a sense of being closer to the water which is great when you're just beginning your board adventures!

For all water-activities you MUST be able to swim.

Please note that a Parent or Guardian MUST ALWAYS be present when children are participating in any activity at Ullswater Wake & Surf and Parents accept full responsibility.

Towed kneeboarding uses a special board with a padded deck contoured to the shape of the shins and knees and handles to hold while being towed.

The low centre of gravity often makes it easier to get up on than a waterski or wakesurf board, which both require standing up

KNEEBOARD SESSIONS

We offer kneeboards for anyone who wants to get out on the water but isn't quite ready for full-on wakesurfing.

For children 7 years and over. All children under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
