A day by day plan of our journey and the places that you will visit

  • Day 1 Ready to enjoy the best holiday of your life? Upon arrival at Poros Island, you will have the morning to settle into your chosen accommodation and as evening approaches, we’ll convene at Perel Poros cafe.

We will get to know each other over sunset drinks and your triathlon coaches will outline the week's itinerary, addressing any queries that may arise. You will also receive your complimentary Swimming Cruise swimming cap and an inflatable buoy that will accompany you on open water swims.

  • Day 2 Our trip will begin with an exciting journey to the picturesque Tselevinia islands, traversing the stunning coastline and swimming in pristine azure waters.

Your swimming coaches will divide the group into two categories: beginners and advanced swimmers.

As you swim, coaches will offer a personalised, private evaluation of each participant's swimming technique. To do this, every swimmer will be filmed and then offered a spoken analysis.

Swimming will undoubtedly work up an appetite, so we'll pause for a light meal at a nearby taverna.

In the evening, we will go for a scenic, 5-kilometre night run on Poros, led by certified running coach Spiros Rois, a triathlete and 5-times Ironman finisher, Marathon Des sables (250km) 2019 finisher and participant of many classic Marathons, who is well acquainted with all of the island’s best running routes.

In the morning, you can take a 20-minute taxi ride (cost, around 20 euros per person), to visit the awe-inspiring 4th-century BC Theatre of Epidaurus (ticket cost, 12 euros) renowned for its exceptional acoustics and flawless beauty. This magnificent theatre is still in use today.

Following a day of enriching cultural exploration, we'll embark on a truly unique swimming experience – swimming over the Submerged Ancient City of Epidaurus and marvelling at the astonishing millennia-old underwater ruins!

  • Day 4 Today, we will grab our triathlon standard bikes with your iron man coach Spiros Rois and cross over by boat from Poros’ harbour to the port of Galatas (10 minutes away) for a superb cycling experience. Our 50k adventure will take place in Methana (10 minutes from Galatas), also known as ‘The Land of Hephaestus’, which is a volcanic Peloponnesian peninsula known for its curative thermal springs and unique nature that includes a stupendous variety of wild orchids.

Triathlon participants who prefer to opt out of the day’s cycling activity will have the wonderful option of boarding our sailboat together with one of our leaders and heading out to a lovely nearby spot for leisurely swimming, SUP, diving and snorkelling.

  • Day 5 Our next sailing and swimming excursion will take us towards the charming island of Angistri. We'll spend the morning hours swimming to our heart's content, pausing for lunch in picturesque Angistri.

A delightful bonus to look forward to: In these Aegean waters, there's a high chance of encountering dolphins, either as we sail or while we swim!

Bring along your running shoes because in the afternoon, we will be going for a 10k run on the island’s magnificent paths, led by running coach Spiros Rois.

Note: If you prefer to opt out from the run, you’re welcome to stay on the boat or at the beach during this time.

In the morning, embrace the opportunity for a stroll through this car-free town, meandering through its charming alleyways and visiting its fascinating museums and shops.

For our swimming session, we'll plunge into Hydra’s very deep waters for a rejuvenating swim in the luminous, cobalt sea that stretches along the island's coastline.
