About

Combining the Elements of Yoga with the Elements of Nature is truly something special. But adding to that the beauty and vibration of sound is an experience BEYOND. This journey begins as we take to the ever unique Wallkill River for a short sunset paddle, followed by a calming breathing and gentle SUP yoga movement session on the boards, and concludes as we traverse the river home floating through an on water sound bath offering.

Classes are designed for all levels. So fear not! You don’t need any paddle or yoga experience to partake and enjoy. The demo, instructions, and yoga flow are catered to fit the beginners needs, with additional options offered if you are a seasoned practitioner and would like to test your skills. All classes start with a brief 10 minute water safety and paddle instruction on land, then a 20 minute paddle up the river to our anchor point, followed by a yoga flow, and ending with some time to just pause and float and take it all in as we let the river gently guide us back to our docking point.

What to bring

No matter if it’s a sup yoga lesson or a stand up paddle board lesson consider wearing clothes you can move around in and that are dry-wicking materials, bathing suits, or yoga clothes are ideal. Consider avoiding cotton fabrics.

A positive attitude, a willingness to play, and learn for starters. You do not need to bring a water proof camera, Gopro, or cell phone on the water unless you have something to carry it in. Most boards have tie down straps to hold shoes or water bottles. However, don’t bring your best ones in case you fall in and items fall off your board. Most items do not float. Do bring a hat, sunblock, bug spray if you may want it, a snack and extra water for after class.

Important information

Please ensure that you arrive 15 minutes before class so that you can get situated with your gear and you are ready to launch on time. Departures will not wait, and anyone not on site by the time of launch will be ineligible for refunds.

Adventure Tips

Arrive early for sunset views

Getting there 30 minutes before the session ensures the best sunset scenery and a relaxed start.

Wear fitted clothing for yoga on water

Choose comfortable, close-fitting clothes that won’t slip or flutter in the wind during yoga poses.

Bring a waterproof bag for valuables

Keep items safe and dry during your paddle, especially if you plan to join the sound bath afterward.

Stay hydrated and bring a light snack

Hydration helps, especially if the session runs into the evening, and a snack keeps your energy up.
