About

On the south side of Lefkada there is the bay of Rouda, the second largest bay of the island with a beach that daily hosts many visitors.

Its crystal clear and quiet waters are a pole of attraction and a temporary anchorage for many sailboats but also for large yachts that their passengers choose to eat fresh fishes in the many traditional taverns of the beach.

The bay of Rouda hosts caves with deep waters that occasionally visit seals, turtles and dolphins.

Meeting time 10:00 in the morning, a briefing on the activity, equipment preparation and at about 10:30 we paddle in the crystal clear waters.

We paddle circularly of the bay with the first stop for swimming in the inaccessible beach of Peristera after first visiting a cave that inside has a very small beach which in the winter months is a shelter for seals.

Continuing to the western bay cape where we stop for diving from above. Coffee, fruits, biscuits, juices, they will stimulate us and give us strength for the rest of the tour.

We pass to the eastern cape and the landscape changes, limestone slopes with geological interest and a cave of surprise for the end. Back to the bay at about 14:00.
