About

One of our personal favorites! The sunset arrival time is generally based on the time of the sunset. Sometimes we might paddle the Breakwater Harbor area and take in some history while other times we might meander along the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal or a local tributary creek enjoying local flora and fauna.

We offer this paddle from various locations depending on tide/winds, but the locations can include Cape Henlopen State Park. All launch sites are all within in the Lewes area.

Please note:

Quest Guides will correspond with you in advance on the starting location to take advantage of the best conditions possible for the trip. Also note, if your Tour locations is at Cape Henlopen at Cape Henlopen State Park, there is a park entrance fee ($5 in-state tags / $10 out-of-state tags). If no one is at the ticket booth, please use the self-pay kiosk and please plan a few extra minutes so you can arrive on time for the kayak tour. Your pass is good for the day, and there is a nature center, World War II observation tower, miles of trails and of course plenty of beach to explore.
