Where should we meet?

-Our Salem kiosk is located within the beautiful Salem Willows Park, 167 Fort Ave in Salem. There is metered parking in front of the arcades and restaurants, or free parking near the basketball courts. Once you park, walk past the arcade, keeping it on your right, and head toward the long wooden pier at the end of the park. You'll see our kiosk on the left just before the pier (we're the ones with the kayaks and paddleboards :) ) Please plan on arriving at the kiosk 5-10 minutes ahead of time so we can get you on the water as quickly as possible!

What should I wear?

  • Anything you are comfortable (potentially) getting wet. Most people choose to wear either just a swim suit, board shorts, or active wear, such as shorts and a tanktop or t-shirt

Should I wear shoes?

  • Most people choose to go barefoot while kayaking, but we do recommend wearing a flip flop or water shoe to protect your feet while walking to the water over rocks or shells. You are more than welcome to wear shoes while paddling, or you can stash them under the deck bungees.

What else do I need to bring with me?

  • It's a great idea to bring water and sunscreen, as well as a snack if you will be out for multiple hours. Other than that, keep a towel in your car for when you're done, and enjoy the simplicity of being on the water.
