Duration: 5 days - Monday - Friday (1hr 45mins each day)
Go from complete beginner to ocean expert in a week.Teach your parents how to surf by the end of it !
Throughout the course of the week kids will learn everything from tides, weather forecast, risk assessment, equipment care and all the necessary movements for surfing such as handling the board, paddling, popping up, turning, speeding up and slowing down.
During this time the group will be divided evenly among our instructors so people will be rotating from one activity to another fully supervised
All instructors are trained ISA surfing instructor and RLSS beach lifeguards with first aid training and Gardai Vetting. Our instructors are competent in risk assessments and have taken safety precautions throughout the sessions. All sessions are thought in waist deep whitewater.
Fully supervised by trained instructors on a ratio of 8:1.
Parents do not have to get in the water with their children but do have to drop them off and pick them up on time to help them getting changed etc. If parents could stay a proximity to the centre in case of emergencies or comfort for their child would be great.
Getting to the beach before sunrise ensures you catch the best conditions of the day.
