About

On a Silent Boat Tour we gently traverse the Upper Ord River from Kununurra in a modern, quiet and very comfortable bow-rider. Maximum passengers of 4 meaning there is less noise and distraction than that of larger boats.

Flexible departure times - as early as first light, or as late as 2pm from Celebrity Tree Park boat ramp. Morning cruises are best for those who would like to photograph birds and see Emu creek lagoon lit up by morning light. It is generally cooler in the morning.

More info

We cruise up river into Emu creek lagoon where birds and wildlife can be seen. The whisper quiet outboard allows us to approach wildlife stealthily to take photos of the many bird species in the creeks and lagoons. We will often turn off the motor so you can enjoy the serene sounds of nature or waterfalls flowing in the wet season.

Option to view rock art at the head of sleeping budha Option to walk to Herbie's hideaway - 30 minute walk each way requires good level of fitness but worth the walk.

Customise cruises available - Photography, bird watching, chasing waterfalls or just spend time relaxing next to the water.

Although the boat can seat 6 passengers, we limit this number to just 4 giving you more room and a better view. We give you more time to see what you want to see + more time on the river.

Enjoy a cup of bush tea or bring along beverages of your choice, snacks to place in the chiller, while enjoying stunning scenery that is uniquely the Kimberley.
