2 Day Lesson – 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day
Students learn to sail on a Beneteau ASA 22, designed specifically for ASA 101 classes. You will sail in moderate winds and sea condition. No prior experience is required to take this class. You will learn how to rig a boat, hoist and trim the sails, tack, jibe, douse the sails and do a person overboard drill.
Always review wind and weather conditions before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable sail.
Dress in layered, quick-drying clothes and bring a hat and sunglasses for sun protection.
Arriving 15 minutes early allows time for gear check and instructor introductions.
Active participation enhances learning—don’t hesitate to ask about sailing fundamentals.
