Slip into the clear, calm waters off Mahahual and explore a living slice of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second-largest reef system on Earth. Glide over vibrant coral gardens, watch schools of tropical fish flash by, and keep an eye out for eagle rays, lobsters, and the occasional eel or stingray.
We meet right on Mahahual beach, gear up, and head just off shore with an experienced guide who picks the best spot for the day. If you bring a camera, you’ll have time to float, watch, and snap photos when we find the action.
Turtle note: Green sea turtles live here, but wildlife is unpredictable. There is no guarantee you’ll see turtles on this tour—however, there’s always plenty of other amazing sea life to enjoy.
