You can admire some magnificent views such as “Isola Bella” and “Grotta Azzurra” and you can snorkel along the vertical walls in the bay of the blue cave and in the marine park of Isola Bella, surrounded by a vast variety of flora and fauna. The morphology of the coast and the sea beds is unique in its kind.

What Is Snorkeling?

Snorkeling simply means swimming on the surface with fins and a mask with a tube called snorkel. The snorkel is a curved tube, generally made from plastic and is also used in scuba diving. One end of the tube is made from silicone and shaped in an ergonomic way so that it can be comfortably inserted in the mouth.

It is used together with the mask so that it is possible to breathe without lifting your head up from the water, allowing you to continue swimming whilst looking at the sea beds.

Created for use in spear fishing, it is now an essential object for tourists whenever fins and masks are used. Snorkeling is not particularly a hard activity, however, there are some rules that must be followed. It is always advised to be guided by the staff of Sea Spirit Diving Resort who are experts of the area. They will safely accompany you during this wonderful experience with a high level of attention and professionalism.
