Dive into vibrant reefs alongside professional guides, all while enjoying a globally recognized certification that opens doors to a lifetime of marine exploration.
If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure, and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. It is your ticket to a lifetime of marine adventure!
The PADI Scuba Diver course is a scuba certification that is limited to a dive depth of 40 feet, and you must be accompanied by a dive professional such as a Divemaster or Scuba Instructor when you scuba dive.
This certification is ideal for people who prefer to dive at shallower locations -most reef dives will be well within the 40 feet depth limit- and who like to dive with professional local guides to show them the best parts of a particular dive site.
It is also great for those of you who have only limited time available to work towards a scuba certification as it only takes one day to become a PADI Scuba Diver.
Just like any Open Water Diver certification that certifies you to dive to 60 feet of depth with another certified diver as your dive buddy, the PADI Scuba Diver certification is globally accepted and does never expire.
You can upgrade your certification level to Open Water Diver at any time, simply by finishing the remaining parts of your course academics and in-water training with any dive shop.
****Important! If you wish to achieve a full Open Water Diver certification, please refer to our "Open Water Diver & Referral Course" offer. Again, this is limited scuba certification!
Our PADI Scuba Diver course is based on students taking an online class prior to coming here for one day of in-water training.
From the online course, you will need to finish reading the first three chapters and answer the knowledge review sections at the end of each chapter. That's it!
The online class covers all required course academics. The PADI eLearning system presents you with interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics, and reading. Short quizzes let you gauge your progress as well as review and correct anything you might have missed. You move through the program efficiently and at your own pace.
When you arrive here for your confined and open water training sessions, you will spend the morning in the pool with your instructor where you will learn all required scuba skills. You will then spend the afternoon accomplishing two open-water training dives in the ocean on different reef sites amidst beautiful marine life.
In order to participate in the course, you must be 10 years or older, be healthy and reasonably fit, and must know how to swim. Please also review the Medical Statement to see if you need to provide a doctor's release for the course here.
The only things you need will be a swimsuit, a towel, and sunscreen. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
When booking this course, please make sure you have enough time to work through the required online training (3-4 hours approx,) as we will not be able to commence your in-water training without the course academics being done.
Courses are being offered daily with never more than four students per instructor. Parties of a greater number will have the respective number of instructors dedicated to them. Please reserve your spots in the course ahead of time.
Course fees include online courses and course materials, full scuba gear rental, and certification.
