About

Our seaplane pier is situated 150 m from the cruiseship-terminal. Taking off from Karmsundet you will experience the Birdseye-view of the classic Norwegian archipelago and fjord landscape. You will also pass close to Avaldsnes stonechurch. If weather permits, you can also see the glacier Folgefonna from distance.

We will also fly over the Viking-island of Bokkøy before continuing over the Boknafjord on our way to Lysefjorden, and the breathtaking Pulpit Rock: circling over, before returning back to Haugesund.

Pulpit Rock is a flat plateau of rock that measures approximately 25m x 25m, offering wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. Jutting 604 meters in the air above Lysefjorden,

Pulpit Rock has been described by Lonely Planet as one of the world’s most spectacular viewing points, and often features at the top of the list for natural wonders around the world.

The famous, well-visited natural attraction was first discovered in 1896. The Pulpit Rock is also famous from the ”Mission Impossible” movies featuring Tom Cruise.
