Circumnavigate beautiful Samuel Island
Join us for an unforgettable 7-nautical-mile kayaking adventure around Samuel Island, where you'll navigate scenic passages and enjoy breathtaking views of Anniversary Island. Encounter diverse marine life, from otters to seals, while honing your paddling skills. This unique guided tour offers a blend of exploration and learning in a stunning setting.
We will circumnavigate Samuel Island. The paddle is approximately 7 nautical miles long and requires paddling skills. Prerequisite: Paddle Canada Level 1 Sea Kayaking Skills.
We carefully time this trip through the passages. This paddle is only offered about once a month.
We will kayak through Boat Pass and paddle along the North shore of the private island with views of Anniversary Island. We will stop as required by the group. Wild Life viewing may include otters, seals, sea stars and other marine life, or even whales if we are lucky.
This guided tour includes the use of one of our kayaks (a mixture of single and tandem kayaks) and safety gear. The pace will be medium and take around 4-5 hours including some breaks.
This is a great opportunity to learn about trip planning in the area, considering the potentially fast moving currents that can be encountered.
