Tours take place in Jamaica Bay. On the very edge of NYC, Jamaica Bay is an estuary nearly twice the area of Manhattan. Steady ocean breeze and peaceful open surroundings make for fantastic sailing and some spectacular sunsets. The sailboat is the unique Norfolk Oyster ""Christina"".
Our cruising ground is an expansive array of small bays, marked channels, sandy shorelines and mixed parkland. Every sailing tour is a minimum of 2 hours, covering at least 6+ miles roundtrip. Wind and tide will help decide our course for the day.
