Tourbeschreibung
Los geht's am Lahntours-Campingplatz in Runkel um 10:00 Uhr. Nach der obligatorischen Einweisung und Ausrüstung trägt die Strömung die Kanus rasch davon, vorbei an den Runkler Ortsteilen Kerkerbach, Steeden und Dehrn mit seinem Schloss hoch über der Lahn. In Limburg-Dietkirchen lädt ein Rastplatz zur Erholung und die imposante Basilika zur Besichtigung ein, bevor man Limburg erreicht. Die Altstadt und der Dom lohnen einen Besuch, dann geht es durch die erste automatische Schleuse ins Limburger Becken, vorbei am Schloss Oranienstein bis nach Diez. Hinter der zweiten Schleuse links am Lahntours-Tretbootverleih endet die Tour, wo der Bus um 18:00 Uhr für den Rücktransfer bereitsteht.
