Drift along the scenic Pinawa Channel, where gentle currents, and breathtaking wilderness create a perfect escape for couples, friends, families, groups and special celebrations.

  • Pinawa Channel is slow flowing and flat (no white -water rapids)
  • Pinawa Channel is rocky with varying depth (shallow to over head level)
  • Pinawa Channel Float takes 2-3hrs depending on acute wind conditions
  • There is only one exit point marked at the end of the Pinawa Channel float

Tube Fitting Notes

  • All tube types are linkable with included linking straps
  • Children aged 2-5 must be in a multrider tube with adults

Single Luxury Tube

  • Fits 1 floater
  • Best for water lovers (wet ride)
  • Book 1 tube for each floater
  • Equipped with cup holder; linking strap for connection to others
  • Floaters aged 6-14 use 'Junior' Single Tubes sized for appropriate fit on site

Dynamic Duo Tube

  • Fits 2 floaters (15+), or parent and child 6+ (child seat included as needed).
  • Best for water lovers (wet ride)
  • Book 1 tube for every 2 floaters
  • Equipped with two cup holders; linking strap for connection to others

Large 'LG' Multi-Rider Tube (2m/6.5ft diameter)

  • Fits 2-4 floaters (e.g., 4 smaller individuals, 2 average adults with 2 smaller kids, 3 average adults, 2 larger adults).
  • Best for a drier float experience.
  • Book 1 tube for the appropriate number of floaters as suggested above
  • Equipped with linking strap for connection to others

Extra Large 'XL' Multi-Rider Tube 2.5m/8.2ft diameter)

  • Fits 4-6 floaters (e.g., 6 smaller adults, 5 average adults, 2 average adults with 4 kids, 4 average adults with 2 kids, or 3-4 larger adults).
  • Best for a drier float experience.
  • Book 1 tube for the appropriate number of floaters as suggested above
  • Equipped with linking strap for connection to others

Parking is not included in pricing

  • The Town of Pinawa charges fees for parking, determines traffic flow, collects garbage, cleans and maintains parking lots, pathways and toilets. Please call the town office directly with any related concerns at 204.753.5100 or email: admin@pinawa.com

What you need to bring with you

  • Water or other hydration for the 2-3 hour float.
  • Flip-flops or water shoes.
  • Sunscreen, UV protective clothing, hat, and sunglasses.
  • Children's life jackets (if required as above).
  • Personal life jacket (if preferred).

PRO TIPS for a better experience

  • DO NOT bring glass items.
  • Leave towels, street clothes, and backpacks in your vehicle.
  • Consider a picnic before or after your float and minimize items on the water.
  • For a more peaceful float, especially if bringing children, choose a weekday float and/or a float start time before 12:30 on weekends/holidays.
  • This is a natural environment with no constructed or engineered features; participation acknowledges inherent risks. If uncomfortable with nature and water, this activity may not be suitable.
