Safari and pelagic shark snorkeling tour for swimmers and watchers. All levels of experience are welcome. This experience is designed by a marine biologist and our guides are ecologists/environmentalists with years of experience with the fauna and geography of Baja. You also get a presentation about shark ecology & conservation work done locally.
Before entering the water, all participants will receive a comprehensive safety briefing from our crew. This will cover the proper techniques for entering and exiting the water, as well as guidelines for maintaining a safe distance from the sharks.
Our experienced crew will attract sharks to the boat using chum and bait, giving you the opportunity to witness sharks in their natural habitat. Mako and Blue sharks can be seen from Dec. to May, while Silky and Hammerhead sharks can be seen throughout the year, especially when the water is warmer, with big aggregations of Silkies from May to July.
Follow the guide's instructions and enjoy the sharks with safety and respect! Sharks may come close to the boat, and non-swimmers are also able to watch them from above.
