About This Adventure

Great way to learn together & share the experience!

Duration

1.5 hour The extra half an hour gives you the time to not have to rush, which makes it easier to get the most out of your fliteboarding lesson.

About

FLITEBOARDING WITH SOMEONE

,is heaps more fun and affordable. You get to share the anticipation and excitement, the lesson parts, the shared progress and achievements, and of course the smiles and the stoke. By taking turns you get to have a breather and learn through watching and celebrating your efoiling partner. You both also get that focused one one one attention from your efoiling teacher. Book a Fliteboard to share one and take turns.

BEGINNER

You can expect to have fun, for it to be easier than you thought and to have an experience of planing on the water and foiling above the water. Learning Efoiling is easier than learning to surf and on flat water, with controllable power and speed, you will advance quickly

Intro - First 10 minutes

  • Support as to how Fliteboard works
  • Learning about the Flite controller and how to control its speed and stopping
  • Safety considerations
  • Things to know about the location
  • Positioning on the board and how this relates to planing and foiling
  • How to get the most out of the session

Water Time - 50 minutes

  • Lying down riding / not foiling
  • Kneeling up riding / not foiling
  • Kneeling up foiling or not
  • Standing up riding on surface
  • Standing up foiling

Instructor is on his own fliteboard to follow and support.

INTERMEDIATE

We focus on refining feet positioning combined with gear speed use, and how to gain confidence turning. You will also move from the larger Fliteboard to the Pro and in some cases the Ultra board. If desired these lessons may lead to a dedicated efoil session in the surf. (Refer to the website for more info)

ADVANCED

We focus on higher and lower speed turning, pumping and greater height control, the use of different wings, the more refined use of Flite controller gears and efoiling in the ocean and the Free glide prop.
