What to Bring

  • Closed-Toed Shoes - closed-toed shoes protect your toes from rocks, glass, etc. Please, NO CHEAP WATER SHOES OR CROCS. Shoes must be able to tie or strap down firmly to your feet or the current will take them right off. Good options are Keen sandals, sneakers, hiking shoes/boots, wader boots, etc)
  • Socks - thick socks provide comfort and warmth, and they also provide protection from sand that will enter your shoes. Most snorkelers and whitewater paddlers wear them.
  • Clothing for snorkeling (FYI, there are no changing rooms so please wear the clothes you plan to snorkel in) - I wear swimming trunks and no shirt. Some folks wear swimming trunks and a shirt. Some folks wear a bathing suit. Some folks wear a bathing suit with a shirt. It depends on what you are comfortable with.
  • Change of Clothes & Towel
  • Water, Snacks, Medications - Generally, our guests keep these things in their vehicle for after the trip. However, if you have a condition that warrants you to keep anything within reach, our guides will carry them in a dry bag for you. We will also have a first aid kit on us.
