If the minimum requirement of people is not met then your lesson could be moved to a group or you could upgrade price & do a 1:1 ( private ) lesson. If conditions do not allow we will notify you and give you a full refund.

Under 18s have to be with a parent or guardian & 8 -13 may have to double up with parent, depending on ability & also conditions,

SUP Lesson Agenda

SUP lesson starts with fitting you into the wetsuit then a group gathering & talk you through your equipment - how to carry & lie on the board, using your paddle correctly, kneeling on your board & how to turn it, then going through the standing from knees & correct stance. Emergency action procedure then onto the water & start the tour on estuary. Heading up the river to take in the sights of Warkworth castle & under the medieval bridge where you also can see Swans, Herons & sometimes the odd kingfisher & seal. Also have some games on them - SUP dodgems, board transactions, cross stepping to the nose of the board.

  • All you need to bring is a towel, bottle of water and swimwear, we provide the rest!
