About This Adventure

Embark on an unforgettable sailing adventure in picturesque Buttonwood Sound! Under the guidance of U.S. Coast Guard licensed captains, you'll master the art of sailing, from tacking to steering. With small group sizes and options for family team-building, this ASA accredited school promises a unique and enriching experience on the water.

  • Learn the basics of sailing with one of our U.S. Coast Guard licensed captains.

  • Take the tiller, learn the ropes, and experience the art of sailing--tack, gybe, and steer a course, learn points of sail and more.

  • Sail picturesque Buttonwood Sound on our Catalina 22 sailboats

  • Lesson is limited to 3 people or For Group's /Family's we use a 25' Catalina and team building on a 34 Catalina or Catamaran

• American Sailing Academy located at Key Lime Sailing Club and Cottages - BAYSIDE (Sunset Cruise, Paddle Eco Trip, Daily Rentals) • 99306 Overseas Highway (U.S. 1), Key Largo, FL 33037 (Between Mile Marker 99 and MM 100 on the Bayside) • LANDMARK: Mrs Mac's Kitchen (southbound U.S.1) – we are just south, look for big blue mail box with sailboat on top, and a huge Adirondack chair

From the North • Head South on US-1 toward Key West • We are between MM 99 and MM 100 on Bayside • You will see Mrs Mac's Kitchen on your right. Please park in available space in front of wood fence near the big blue mail box with sailboat on it • Walk through our entrance between the big Adirondack chair and the mailbox sailboat. Follow the driveway toward the Tiki Hut by the water

From the South • Head North on US-1 toward Miami • We are between MM99 and MM 100 on Bayside • Make a U-turn at Atlantic Ave (Big stoplight – you'll see Walgreens on your right approximately MM 100) • Now you are heading South on US 1 – in less than a ¼ mile you'll see Mrs Mac's Kitchen • When you see Mrs Mac's Kitchen on your right, please park in an available space in front of wood fence near the big blue mail box with sailboat on it • Walk through our entrance between the big Adirondack chair and the mailbox sailboat. Follow the driveway toward the Tiki Hut by the water
