About
The trip starts from the beautiful beach “Mikros Gialos”, we paddling near the coast in the southeast direction.
The first major stop for swimming and snorkelling is Agios Ioannis beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of the Ionian Sea, where we will have the opportunity to enjoy turquoise waters, then cover one of the most impressive parts of the western coastline of Meganisi. This piece offers a wide variety of scenery from beautiful sandy almost hidden beaches and rocky formations that form corridors.
We reach the famous cave of Papanikoli (the cave was used as a natural shelter from the underwater ‘Papanikolis’), we take a break for a swim.
Getting out of the cave we find a beautiful rocky formation, ideal for some more dives. Next destination a small hidden paradise, a beach that few know, will accommodate us for swimming, snorkeling and light meal.
We return to the beach of Agios Ioannis for another short respite, before crossing the strait that separates Meganisi from Lefkada.
Upon our return to Mikros Gialos Beach, we will visit Kipi Beach where we will be able to admire a colony of large red stars.
