The 19' & 21' Scott canoes are perfect for motorized extended trips to the Fisherman's Bay and Coronet Creek campgrounds which are only accessible by boat. The 19' has a 1500lb payload and the 21' will carry a ton. They can be towed from Jasper with a 2"ball or can be delivered for a fee. (this plan requires a firm time frame for delivery and pick-up)
All you need to bring is your fishing gear and your Parks Canada Fishing Permit, which you can purchase at Jasper Source for Sports or the Astoria Hotel. Life Jackets and other necessary items are provided with the rental. All necessary items including whistles, bailing buckets, life jackets,keys and even fishing permits can be found at the Astoria Hotel in downtown Jasper.
Under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult PDF, paddles or oars, bailing bucket & rope are provided free with boat rental Motors and batteries are subject to availability Electric motor operation requires a valid Pleasure Craft Certification or equivalent (3 page form required before renting if you do not have certification)
