Start
Meeting at Visaginas at LitWild office. Going with your own transport following LitWild team from Visaginas to the tour's starting place not far from Trainiškis village, near the Medžiūkalnis stream (~40 minutes).
Here you will be provided with kayaks, life-vests, paddles, and safety briefing.
Guided kayaking
Now it's time for you to paddle along the most picturesque and wild river banks, enjoying the serenity of the summer noon. There is no rush, just you and nature, nature and you. It allows you to experience and appreciate all the beauty of intact nature of Aukštaitija National Park.
Short break
There is a cultural-historical stop planned in the middle of the route, so you can learn about unique historical object - Ginučiai water mill, refresh under its waterfalls, and off you go again.
Guided kayaking
A little bit more of kayaking whilst enjoying the striking beauty of the winding banks; a piece of true wild but friendly nature.
Finish
We finish at Linkmenas lake, where hot tea and tasty snacks are waiting for you. If the weather permits, there is some time to swim in refreshing waters of this beautiful forest lake.
Comfortable transport for drivers to the car drop-off point and coming back to Visaginas (~40 minutes, limited seats!).
Since you'll be on the water, opt for lightweight, quick-drying apparel and bring a change of clothes.
Mosquitoes can be active near lakes and forests, especially in the summer months.
Apply sunscreen and wear a hat to guard against sun exposure during your paddling trip.
