About This Adventure
Embark on a scenic one-way journey from Southend Pier to Queenborough, perfect for exploring Sheppey or continuing your adventure in Kent. Enjoy the picturesque views as you board the boat at 5:00 PM, arriving in Queenborough by 5:45 PM. This unique experience offers a seamless escape to new destinations.
One way travel to Queenborough.
This ticket is to be bought if you intend to travel one way from Southend Pier to Queenborough. This ticket may be purchased if:
A) You wish to travel to Sheppey to return on another day; or B) having visited Southend, are booking your return journey back to Sheppey; or C) Wish to travel to Kent and are not returning.
Please note there is no return trip on this crossing. This Ticket will not return you to Southend.
Please ensure when you are booking your trip that you have checked for a return crossing.
Your ticket includes Pier entry and use of the Pier train. Please show your ticket to any Southend Pier member of staff.
In order to join the boat you will need to be at Southend Pier entrance no later than 16:20pm. Please catch the 16:30pm pier train.
Once at the end of the pier the boat will depart from near the Lifeboat station Gift shop. Boat leaves at 17:00pm.
Arrival into Queenborough will be at 17:45pm
Please note that crossings are subject to weather. If the weather is expected to see strong winds then you will normally receive notification of cancellation 24-48 hours before.
