About

Join us aboard MV Sheerwater for a leisurely sail to the viaduct Loch nan Uamh. Take in the sights of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s departure point where he set sail to France, following the Jacobite defeat at Culloden.

You may be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of the Jacobite steam train from the vantage point of Loch nan Uamh as it crosses the viaduct! Keep your eyes peeled for possible wildlife sightings

  • Dogs are welcome. They must be booked on. They should be kept on a short lead at all times, off seats and kept on the outer deck of the boat (not inside.) Please do not allow them to roam.

Our highly experienced skippers will make every effort to make the trip safe and comfortable for all on board. If you don't travel very well, then sea-sickness tablets are highly recommended. If weather conditions look dangerous then the skipper will change or make amendments to the timetabled route.
