About

We run group lessons that are great fun and designed to kickstart or progress your existing skills. Group surfing lessons can be a mixture of adults and children so are ideal for individuals of any age from 8yrs upwards, families, groups of friends etc. Group size is generally up to 24 participants (Ratio of 1:8).

Important info prior to lesson

Most of our surfing lessons will take place at the Compton Farm end of Compton Beach (aka Fields) nearest postcode PO30 4HF, all of these details will be in your confirmation email. If we need to relocate the lesson for any reason then we will contact you the evening before by email and txt msg so it is important to provide us with your mobile number in the booking and opt in for messages.

Please note there are no facilities at this particular beach, there is a toilet just down the road (2mins drive) and we suggest you making a visit prior to your session. As we do not have a changing rooms etc then we suggest changing in to your swim clothes prior to your session.

What to bring

Please bring something to wear underneath your wetsuit i.e. swimming shorts, costumes etc, a towel, suncream, drink and warm clothes for afterwards. If you have your own wetsuit then please feel free to bring it along if you wish.

Before your sessions please download the NHS Track and Trace app for the Isle of Wight. Once you arrive at the session location you will be able to scan a QR code via the Track and Trace app...it is really easy to do and takes seconds and will help the fight against COVID19
