Esta belleza natural tiene 19 kilómetros de largo y cinco kilómetros de ancho, cuenta con varias bahías y una increíblemente rica vida marina, reptiles terrestres y aves, entre los cuales destacan el gato de cola anillada, la liebre negra y la una ardilla terrestre, todos ellos exclusivos de esta isla. Las únicas criaturas que reclaman esta tierra como su hogar son los leones marinos, las mantarrayas, los delfines, las tortugas, y cuando es su temporada, las ballenas grises y los tiburones grises. Protegida por la UNESCO como una reserva de biosfera, la isla es administrada por la Comisión de Áreas Naturales Protegidas de México, la cual está colaborando también con grupos sin fines de lucro para proteger esta maravilla natural que México y La Paz tienen para ofrecernos. Este tour tiene una duración aproximada de 7 horas saliendo de la marina “La Paz” o el “Muelle Fiscal” según las necesidades y preferencias de nuestros invitados, y consta de un viaje en bote con una duración aproximada de una hora con cuarenta y cinco minutos hasta arribar a la isla.
