Introduce your child to the thrilling world of sailing with this three-day course! They will learn essential skills like rigging, launching, and sailing techniques, all while enjoying hands-on experiences. This unique opportunity fosters teamwork and confidence, making it an unforgettable adventure on the water.
3 Days - 7 Hours per day:
This course runs over three days and teaches young people the basic theory and practical skills of sailing. This will include rigging, launching, and recovery of the boat, ropework, sailing techniques and manoeuvres, capsize and recovery.
Always review wind and weather forecasts before heading out to ensure safe sailing conditions.
Bring quick-drying clothes and a life jacket for safety and comfort during on-water activities.
Getting to the base early allows for equipment setup and a full immersive experience.
Pay close attention to your instructor to maximize learning and safety during the course.
