Embark on a scenic two-day paddle from Henley to Windsor, covering 24 miles along the enchanting Thames. Experience the charm of historic towns, glide past the Royal Regatta Course, and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Unwind in cozy accommodations in Marlow before concluding your adventure at Windsor Leisure Centre.
Day 1: 12.0 miles (6 hours roughly). You'll launch from Henley and paddle through the picturesque town and down the famous Royal Regatta Course to Hambledon Lock.
Head towards Hurley and Bisham down this interesting and beautiful part of the Thames as it starts to get wider.
Accommodation - although we don’t have any specific agreements with Marlow accommodation locations, there are several B&B options in Marlow or the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Day 2: Continue through to Windsor 12.0 miles (6 hours roughly)
Will pick the boats (and kit) up at Windsor Leisure Centre, please note as with all of our trips we are not able to transport passengers in our vehicles.
Parking is available at both the start and finish point of the trip, but as with most car parks space is limited and costs apply.
Layer up and prepare for changing conditions, especially in early morning or late afternoon.
Ensure water flow is safe for paddling; avoid after heavy rains or flooding.
Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses are recommended for long hours on the water.
Book cozy stays in Marlow early, as they fill up during peak seasons.
