Engage in breathwork and grounding practices, glide through tranquil waters, and enjoy a supportive community. This unique journey promises to awaken your senses and leave you feeling centered and alive as the sun sets.

Bask in summer’s golden light and take in the world around you on this unique experience that invites you to soften, awaken your senses, and drop deeply into presence.

Why:

 Slow down and reconnect with your body, breath, and senses.  Immerse yourself in the beauty of summer on the Wolastoq River.  Experience the calming rhythm of water and movement.  Ground yourself through simple somatic practices.  Experience life with intention and depth of presence.  Be part of a supportive, heart-centered community.  Enjoy a unique sunset paddle in a stunning natural setting.  Give yourself space to reflect, release, and reawaken.  Leave feeling more centered, alive, and connected — to yourself, nature, and others.

How:

Enjoy a soulful journey where breath, movement, and quiet connection in community come together.

Our journey begins at the Dominion Park Beach, where we’ll gather pre-sunset to prepare. Your kayak guide will provide essential safety procedures and basic paddling instruction before we set out. We’ll then gather at Sunset Plaza with your wellness facilitator for a short breathwork session and a few grounding practices designed to gently awaken all five senses, inviting a deeper connection to the water, the land, and the moment.

From there, we’ll launch from the South Bay region of the Wolastoq (Saint John River) and trace the shoreline towards Grand Bay, soaking in the golden hues of the setting sun. This unique experience invites you to awaken your senses and find your flow as you glide silently through the stillness of a summer’s evening.

Let the rhythm of the water and the richness of nature anchor you in the present moment as the sun dips below the horizon. Upon returning to shore, we’ll close with a reflective circle by fireside, integrating the evening’s experience before parting ways.
