About

The original pontoon pedal boat or “Cycleboat” in the nation’s capital! These social, active adventures are the perfect way for friends, families, and colleagues to sip, cycle, and celebrate out on the water! Explore some of DC’s most popular waterfront locations, take in the sights of some of Washington DC’s most monumental attractions, and let the river’s breeze put you at ease.

There are 10 cycle stations on board, but our cycleboats are equipped for 16 passengers, so not everyone has to pedal at once. And don’t worry – there’s a motor to power your party if you’d prefer to do more sipping than cycling!

Food & Drink Policies: We now offer the OPTION to either Bring Your Own Booze (BYOB) OR skip the trip to the store and purchase beverages on board (the menu can be found in the cruise details section of our website - drink prices range from $4-$8.50). If you choose to BYOB, the only restriction is no hard liquor (anything over 15% ABV). We do proudly serve Cutwater canned cocktails as part of our drink selection if liquor is your thing. We will have small snacks such as chips available for purchase, but passengers are welcome to bring their own food (BYOF) to enjoy their cruise!

Bathroom Break: We offer the option to stop at Columbia Island Marina for a bathroom break roughly 45 minutes into your cruise. If the bar’s open, passengers are also welcome to take advantage of our Paddle Club shot deal at Island Time Bar & Grill!
