This new workshop is ideally suited for couples wanting to spent some creative time together, whilst having some fun and learning a few new skills. The evening starts with forging mild steel using a hammer and anvil to form the stem of the rose, thorns and all. Participants, then proceed to cold form the rose petals from copper sheeting and finish up by assembling and affixing the petals to the stem. The end result will be a unique, everlasting rose for participants to take home or as a gift for someone dear.
Minimum age for students is 17+
Reservations are recommended as classes fill quickly due to limited space.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring an apron; the workshop can get a bit smoky and metallic dust may settle.
